What in the world? Disgusting! We used our Hilton Honor points. Concerned, I pulled back the covers on my bed to discover a stain that had something inside of it. I opened the curtains and saw the pink stuff all over my son's bed. I didn't see how the linens looked until the next morning. (This was approximately 0300.) So, security was poor. I tried to push it closed when we left but it was jammed in some way. When I left to take my son to the airport, the door leading from the stairwell to outside was open. Apparently that area is reserved for the shuttles as there were two parked vans there when I arrived. Every hotel I have ever stayed in allowed us to park in what I would normally call the "welcoming" area. We walked back to the lobby to wait for our room where I got to stand in line again for check in. After getting yelled at for blocking the driveway I parked the car in the lot near the building where I was told I might get to spend the night. I left my 13 year old son in the car for check in because the hotel is pretty expansive and check-ins are normally quick. I had parked behind a car that was behind one of the vans. Got yelled at for parking my car in the circular driveway. Had to stand in line, twice, so between waking him and that, check in took an hour. Check in took forever because my husband didn't put my name on the reservation so I wasn't permitted to check in. Worst hotel experience ever! Struggled to find hotel, no illuminated sign. We would never stay here again, nor would we recommend it. And, since our rooms were sooo spread out, the odds that we just happened to get the worst rooms in the entire hotel told us every room was like this. We didn't bother asking for 3 different rooms since the halls and elevator had the odor too, so they are obviously aware of it. We tried setting the thermostats in all 3 rooms to as low as they would go to cool them off, but not one of the three cooled off. Additionally, it is July and the rooms were very warm when we checked in, and tnone of he air conditioners ever cooled off any of the rooms very much. All 3 of our rooms, which were located across 2 different floors and at least 5 to 6 doors away from each other, smelled awful from the moment we opened the doors, and all 3 remained odorous. The odor smells like a cross between a sweaty gym and mold or mildew. There is a VERY NASTY ODOR in the halls, the elevator, and the rooms. The rooms looked dated, but clean, and though the pillows flatten out, the beds are decent. Checkin desk was friendly, and the lobby looked okay and didnt smell bad. First, the good,: the Location, the free shuttle, and the free cookies are fine. Our airline delay caused us to miss our connecting flight, so they put us up here.
